Sydney Competitions Review
Hockey NSW is undergoing a transition process to manage a new competition structure of the premier men's and women's hockey competitions in Sydney from 2011.
The Board of Hockey NSW, through initial consultation with associations across Sydney have determined that this major restructure is in the best interests for developing and allowing the growth of hockey in Sydney and NSW.
This is a process of great change and one that will see a revolutionising of hockey in Sydney, which will provide a great foundation for establishing a sustainable future for hockey in NSW.

The Board of Hockey NSW has released its White Paper into the future structure of Competition Hockey in Sydney.
The White Paper was prepared by Sports Consultant Henny Oldenhove on behalf of Hockey NSW, following extensive consultation with the Hockey community.
It is important that all members, be they at association or club level, have the opportunity to review the document and provide input. Over the next six weeks all members of Hockey NSW will have the opportunity to comment on this draft blueprint.
Following the release of the paper there will be a series of ongoing meetings with associations and clubs to receive final comments on the proposed changes.
The Board of Hockey NSW will review in detail all feedback from members. It is anticipated that by the end of June, that the Board will be in a position to circulate a document outlining the proposed new competition structure in detail.
