Hockey NSW’s vision is to dominate the new Hockey One League, create a new elite sporting brand and with this increase the visibility and profile of hockey in NSW and Australia.

To select, prepare and manage the squads, taking part in the 2021 Hockey One League season.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

•    Extensive team coaching experience with a track record of success at an elite level
•    Outstanding technical and tactical hockey knowledge
•    Proven ability to drive consistent performance
•    Ability to communicate effectively and build strong team culture
•    Passion to succeed and continuously improve
•    Strong Focus on achievement
•    Excellent planning skills with attention to detail
•    Experience of elite modern team performance environments in a coaching capacity and knowledge of international trends

Commitments and Responsibilities:

• Attend and chair squad selection at the Hockey NSW State Championships 12th – 14th June 2021 (Women’s at Narellan).
• Organise and attend Squad/Team trainings.
• Attending Home and Away matches throughout the Hockey One League.
• Communicate effectively with Hockey NSW and their staff regarding the organisation of the Pride Teams.
• Select and submit your team line ups to Hockey NSW by the due date.
• Hockey One League dates are to be confirmed but it will run from the 1st October 2021 through to the 21st November 2021.
