Introducing Hookin2Hockey

The official Hockey Australia program that offers young boys and girls an exciting opportunity to learn the foundational skills of hockey, develop essential motor skills, and forge new friendships while embarking on their lifelong passion for the sport!

Geared towards children aged 12 and under, this program is thoughtfully adapted to accommodate those who are stepping onto the field for the first time. Hookin2Hockey serves as the ideal starting point for your child's hockey journey, offering numerous advantages that come with participation.

Delivered in a fun and secure environment, this introductory program introduces children to the wonders of our beloved game. As they progress through the course, participants will master key hockey techniques while building crucial motor skills.

Through the use of modified equipment, your child will joyfully immerse themselves in the game, making the learning process both enjoyable and fulfilling.

This is a six week program that will run for one hour at various locations throughout NSW (listed below).

NSW Pride Hookin2Hockey Clinics

Hockey NSW were excited to offer a special Hookin2Hockey clinic and ticket offer for the JDH Hockey One League season for our home games at Sydney Olympic Park this season in 2023.

For just $25 children aged between 5-12 could participate in a 45-minute hockey clinic at the iconic Sydney Olympic Park Hockey Centre and receive a GA ticket to attend both the womens and mens NSW Pride matches at the conclusion of the clinic. 
 

• Sunday 22 October, NSW Pride v Hockey Club Melbourne, 1:30PM & 3:30PM matches. Clinic start 12:30PM. 
• Saturday 4 November, NSW Pride v Tassie Tigers, 6:30PM & 8:00PM matches. Clinic start 5:15PM. 
• Saturday 18 November, NSW Pride v Adelaide Fire, 6:30PM & 8:00PM matches. Clinic start 5:15PM.
   

This was an amazing opportunity to watch Australia's BEST hockey players LIVE and LOCAL at Sydney Olympic Park Hockey Centre, with every match including hockey players from both the Australian Kookaburras and Hockeyroos teams.
