Hockey NSW Announces the Reappointment of Adriana Care and Wayne Snell as President and Vice President

Hockey NSW is pleased to announce the reappointment of Adriana Care as President and Wayne Snell as Vice President. The re-election was voted on by the Hockey NSW Board of Directors at the monthly Board Meeting in April.
Both Adriana and Wayne have an in-depth understanding of the sport and we are looking forward to their continued positive contributions to the growth and success of Hockey NSW.
Adriana Care
Adriana has served on the Hockey NSW Board since 2019 and has been the President of Hockey NSW since 2021. She is the principal lawyer and owner of Coutts Lawyers and Conveyancers and Nextgen Childcare Centre Group.
Adriana currently leads and serves on several various board roles in the community including charitable groups, with her current focus on her industry and Hockey New South Wales. Adriana is looking forward to continuing the work of the board and ensure strong governance, process, and stability in Hockey New South Wales to take Hockey to the next level with the staff, associations and members as well as the external stakeholders.
She is a passionate hockey participant, having supported, played and coached competitively for most of her life.
Wayne Snell
Wayne Snell has served as Vice President of Hockey NSW since 2022. He is lifelong hockey player, administrator and official.
Wayne Snell is the current Director of Concepts and Capabilities at the Australian Civil Military Centre. Wayne commenced this role in June 2020 after serving nearly two years as the Director of Police and Emergency Services in Afghanistan for NATO. He has also served as the Commander State Operations for the NSW State Emergency Service and with the International Criminal Police Organisation (INTERPOL), the Australian Federal Police, NSW Police, WA Police, Edith Cowan University and as a self-employed consultant.
Wayne also currently the Chair of the International Hockey Federation Integrity Unit (FIU).
