Hockey NSW Welcomes New Members to the Hockey NSW Women's Masters Committee

Hockey NSW is pleased to announce the appointment of Karen Kennedy and Fiona Porter to the Hockey NSW Women's Masters Committee.

Both Karen and Fiona bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to complement the existing committee members and will help maintain the continued growth and strength of the committee.

Get to know the new NSW Women's Masters Hockey Committee members...

Fiona Porter:

Fiona has a long association with Hockey New England, Hockey Coffs Harbour and Tamworth Hockey Association within the administration side, a player, coach, assistant coach in the COD program, selector, and manager.

Fiona currently holds a Hockey Australia level 2 Technical Official certificate and has been a Tournament Director for Hockey NSW with the U15 & 13 girls, Deputy Tournament Director for 18 boys and 15 girls. TO for U18 girls, 18 boys, open women's, 15 girls & boys. Along with attending the Hockey Australia Nationals for U15 boys and U15 girls as a TO & a manager for U15 girls.

In 2023 Fiona will be attending the Hockey Australian Women's Masters Nationals as the 40's manager for Hockey NSW Women's Masters.

Karen Kennedy:

Karen is a past player, awarded Life Membership to Hockey NSW (2019), ex Hockey NSW Board Member (9 years) and Vice president (3 years), Manager NSW WM State teams. Karen has been and is currently the Head of Selectors for the Hockey NSW Women's Masters trials and the State Contingent Manager and Covid Marshall. She just returned from the Hockey Australia Trans-Tasman Challenge series as a Statistician. Karen's knowledge and strength in the areas of the constitution, compliance, policy and procedures can only strengthen the Women's Masters Committee and our links to Hockey NSW.
