The New South Wales trio, who haven’t featured since the Paris 2024 Olympics, bring a combined 416 international caps back into the squad, signalling a serious intent from the Kookaburras as they look to defend their Pro League title.
Govers and Sharp return from injury layoffs, while Craig makes his comeback following a suspension.
“It’s going to feel amazing for sure. Super grateful for getting this opportunity again,” said Craig.
Coach Hager welcomed their inclusion, saying, “It’s fantastic to have the experience of Blake, Tom and Lachie back in our side for this tour. Blake with his goalscoring capabilities, combined with Tom, who brings speed to our front line, and Lachie’s versatility through the middle.”
This is the closest the Kookaburras have come to naming a full-strength squad since the Olympics, with only a few players unavailable due to injury.
Alongside the returning trio, four other New South Welshmen have also earned selection: Tim Brand, Nathan Czinner, Ash Thomas and Ky Willott.
Czinner has impressed since his debut during the Sydney leg of the Pro League, cementing his spot in the squad.
Brand and Willott continue to shine on the world stage, both earning Player of the Match honours during the team’s recent tour of Argentina.
Goalkeeper Ash Thomas will once again team up with Victoria’s Jed Snowden in the goals.
The Kookaburras begin their European tour in Antwerp, Belgium, with clashes against India and Ireland, before heading to London to face England and wrapping up their season in Berlin against Germany.
Currently sitting sixth on the ladder, the Kookaburras are just one point behind Germany and four points off league leaders England - setting up a thrilling run bolstered by the return of some of their biggest stars.
