Register now for the Level 2 FIH Coach Course

Hockey NSW is offering coaches a unique opportunity to develop their skills, expand their knowledge and work alongside some of Australia's leading coaches and athletes at the FIH Level 2 Coach Course this November.

Hosted in conjunction with the Hockey One NSW Pride match against the Tassie Tigers, the two-day event will combine practical learning, expert insights and the opportunity to watch high-level hockey in action.

Coaches will have the chance to hear from and work with current NSW Pride coaches and players, along with guest presenters from Hockey Australia’s performance and pathway programs.

The course is designed for current Foundation Lead Coaches looking to upskill and progress their accreditation within the FIH framework, as well as existing FIH Level 2 coaches seeking to update and maintain their coaching knowledge.

What to expect

The two-day course will cover three key learning modules:

• Coaching theory
• Technical skills for field players
• Coaching teams

Coaches will also take part in workshops covering Foundation Goalkeeping and technical skills, before completing an in-person practical assessment as part of the FIH Level 2 Coach accreditation.

The event provides a valuable opportunity to learn from experienced coaches and athletes, connect with other coaches and put your knowledge into practice in a high-performance environment.
