The 2023 Sports NSW Community Sport Awards

On Thursday, 29 June 2023, Sport NSW hosted the 2023 Sports Foyer NSW Community Sport Awards at the CommBank Stadium. The presentation ceremony was hosted by the Hon. Stephen Kamper, Minister for Sport, who presented the recipients of the Sport NSW Distinguished Long Service Award.
Sport NSW announced 12 Community Sports Award category winners and honoured 23 men and women with a Distinguished Long Service Award.
Hockey NSW would like to congratulate Jillian Long who was a recipient of the prestigious Distinguished Long Service Awards, for her exceptional service to hockey sport for over 25 years.
Hockey NSW would also like to recognise the below hockey representatives who were finalist in their category:
Young Coach of the Year:

Community Sport Administrator of the Year:

Community Official of the Year:
- Sarah Willis
Community Club of the Year:
- UNSW Hockey
Hockey NSW CEO, Emma Highwood, attended the Awards night along with Hockey NSW GM Business Development and Government Relations, Richard Griffiths.
