Thank you for your interest in becoming a Hockey NSW casual coach to help us provide fun and safe hockey programs across NSW.

We will be reviewing all EOI's and will contact you if your location and availabilitlies match the schools and/or community groups that have requested a hockey program. 

POSITION OUTLINE FOR SCHOOL COACHING
The primary objective of the role is to deliver safe, fun and inclusive hockey sessions to students in NSW Schools via the Hookin2Hockey Sporting Schools Program.

Coaches need to abide by:
Sporting Schools Terms and Conditions and have a valid WWCC that is for paid work.

At Hockey NSW we always adhere to the Safe Hockey Framework and other policies and procedures and behave in a way that prioritises the safety of children and young people at all times.

Knowledge and Qualifications:
• A valid WWCC for paid work
• HockeyEd coaching accreditation (or willingness to achieve)
• Knowledge of how to deliver fun, safe and inclusive hockey sessions to kids aged 4 to 18
• Exceptional communication skills
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team

Other Requirements:
As you are representing Hockey NSW as a coach, you will be required to display characteristics such as reliability, punctuality, courtesy, be self-motivated and well presented at all times.
