All State Player nomiantions close Midnight the Saturday prior to the commencment of the Age Championships;

Over 50 & 70 Saturday 5 March 2022,        Over 34 & 40   Saturday 2 April 2022

Over 55  Saturday 30 April 2022,               Over 45 & 65 Saturday 28 May 2022           Over 60 Saturday 25 June 2022

STATEMENT FOR ALL PLAYERS SUBMITTING A NOMINATION FOR NSW STATE MENS MASTERS

In participating at the NSW Mens Masters Hockey State Championships you acknowledge that, even with rigorous capacity and control measures in place at Hockey venues, there remains an unquantifiable risk of transmission of viral illness including COVID-19. By training or playing at venues you have considered that risk and your own personal circumstances, including any health condition or vulnerability that you may have or that of persons whom you will be in close contact with following the match. You acknowledge that, for a small number of people, COVID-19 has very serious health consequences. By submiting this nomination you (and any persons who attend with you) acknowledge and accept these obvious risks.

Dates and Venue:

PLEASE NOTE: Queensland will host the Mens Masters Hockey National Championship between 24th September 2022 and 8th October 2022.  It will be held jointly at the:-

*   Gold Coast Hockey Cetnre, 125 Musgrove Avuneu, Labrador

*  Gold Coast Performance Centre, Cnr Sports Drive & Morala Avenue, Runnaway Bay   

All players to note:  Selection is based on a number  of criteria including and not limited to Fitness, Vision, Skills, Mobility, Previous Captains reports, and Team Fit.

Below are the 2022 NSW School Holidays dates to be taken into consideration for your nomination

You will be required to arrive at the Championships a minimum of 2 days before your competition begins to settle into accommodation and take part in training (training times are unknown at this stage and will not be known until closer to the event).  ALL PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO BE AT ALL SCHEDULED TRAINING SESSIONS AT THE DESINGATED NATIONALS VENUE..

NSW State Training will at the Newcastle International Hockey Stadium  over the weekend of 13-14 August 2022.

Over 55, 60, 65, 70 and 75 teams - 13th August 2022 August - Saturday afternoon from 12 noon and training is Compulsory

Over 34, 40, 45 and 50,  teams  - 14th August 2022 - Sunday morning from 8.30am and training is Compulsory

To assist players in travelling etc to their compulsory training a $100 subsidy amount will be afforded to them in advance and this will be deducted off the Players levy fee. If a player does not travel to training, he has not incurred any travel costs and therefore is not entitled to the subsidy and will receive an additional $100 invoice
