Hockey NSW's New Balance Regional Challenge, with the support of the City of Newcastle, returns once again in 2024. It will be held in Newcastle at the Newcastle International Hockey Centre in Broadmeadow, running from Friday 8th March - Sunday 10th March.
The largest single event in Hockey NSW’s calendar, nearly 2000 players, officials and supporters will descend upon Newcastle over three days, generating an economic impact for the area exceeding $2 million.
The conclusion of our Centre of Development (COD) Program, the New Balance Regional Challenge, draws players from all regions together for a weekend of competition, development and fun.

• Photographing a minimum of two games of the nominated player

Bookings are limited and subject to availability.
Cost $25.00 per player. Due to the number of players and teams only players with booking can be photographed. A public gallery will not be available.
