2027 NSW State & Blues Teams – Off-Field Staff EOI

Hockey NSW invites Expressions of Interest for Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Manager and Selector positions across the 2027 NSW State & Blues Teams.

Applications close Sunday, 13 September 2026. For enquiries, contact pathways@hockeynsw.com.au

Appointments are available across the U14, U16, U18, U21 and NSW Country programs. Applicants should be committed to athlete development, collaboration and delivering a positive representative experience.

Successful applicants will participate in selection events, training camps and national championship campaigns relevant to their role. Please see below planned activities per age group. * Please note the below dates may be subject to change.

U14

Appointment Process

Following the closing date, Hockey NSW will review all Expressions of Interest and shortlist applicants based on the requirements of each role. Shortlisted applicants may be required to participate in a 20-minute interview with a Hockey NSW selection panel as part of the appointment process.

Following completion of the assessment process, preferred appointments will progress through Hockey NSW’s internal approval process before applicants are formally notified.

By submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) for a Hockey NSW State Team position, applicants acknowledge that they may have access to confidential information throughout the appointment process and, if appointed, during the course of their role. This includes, but is not limited to, athlete performance data, selection discussions, medical and wellbeing information, operational plans, and other sensitive information relating to Hockey NSW, its athletes, staff, volunteers and stakeholders. Applicants agree to maintain the confidentiality of all such information, to use it solely for the purpose of fulfilling their responsibilities, and not to disclose, discuss or distribute it to any unauthorised person or organisation during or after the appointment process. Any breach of this confidentiality declaration may result in the applicant being removed from the recruitment process, terminated from an appointed role, and/or subject to further action in accordance with Hockey NSW policies.*
