Hockey NSW Club Finder is now LIVE!

Hockey NSW have implemented a Club Finder search function on the Hockey NSW website. The Club Finder system will assist new and returning members to find which Clubs are available to join in their areas. 

5 NSW players named in the 2024 National Women's Development Squad

In anticipation of a monumental year for hockey, marked by the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris, the 2024 National Women’s Development Squad has been announced, featuring 20 talented players. This dynamic squad is poised to inject essential depth into the recently revealed Hockeyroos 2024 lineup.

2024 Field State Championships Format Changes

Over the past 12 months Hockey NSW has undertaken a review of the Field State Championships including formats and timings of the Championships. The review was approved by the Hockey NSW Board upon consideration of the stakeholder feedback at the completion of the Championships in 2022. These comments along with the extended period of time without a review were the catalyst for the review.

NSW Dominate Hockeyroo and Kookaburra 2024 selections

Hockey Australia this week announced their Hockeyroo and Kookaburra squads for 2024, a year that consists of the 2024 Paris Olympics. NSW dominated both teams with a combine total of 15 NSW Players included in the squad announcements - 7 players in the Hockeyroos squad, and 8 NSW players selected in the Kookaburras 2024 squad.

The Jillaroos open their 2023 Junior World Cup campaign with a blockbuster against defending champions and four-time winners the Netherlands before facing hosts Chile. The Jillaroos’ final pool match is against South Africa.

Hockey One enjoys record crowds - Can we beat it this week?

It has been a terrific start to the 2023 JDH Hockey One season with bumper crowds attending matches across the country and enjoying some thrilling hockey action. Last weekend our NSW Pride men’s and women’s team journeyed to the nation’s capital to take on Canberra Chill in front of a parochial crowd of over 2,000 territorians.

Change of date for 2024 New Balance Regional Challenge

The New Balance Regional Challenge will now be held in Newcastle on the weekend of Friday 8th - Sunday 10th March 2024. Hockey NSW apologises for any inconvenience this change may cause however we believe this to be the best course of action to ensure an enjoyable weekend for our hockey community.
